Happy International Women’s Day from The Element Magazine!
Today, we celebrate by spotlighting Lalah Brown, a trailblazing dancer making her mark at Kent State. As a KSU Ballerina and one of the few POC in her major (Class of 2026), Lalah is redefining what representation in dance looks like.
A dancer, choreographer, and leader, she dedicates herself to her craft while actively educating and uplifting her peers. Her talent speaks for itself, but it’s her passion, resilience, and beautiful spirit that truly set her apart. Lalah is proof that representation matters—and she’s carving out a space of her own, step by step.
